L1165 (Children’s Hair Salon)

Located in a busy shopping center next to a heavily trafficked street, this children’s hair salon get plenty of foot traffic from the adjacent businesses! The 1,200 square foot shop has six stations, two shampoo bowls, and a waiting area with toys. Two of the stations have special seats, (a car and a motorcycle) to keep the younger children entertained while they are getting their hair cut. There are 3 stylists who help with the steady customer flow, especially from the local elementary and middle schools. In fact, the schools help promote the shop thru the PTA’s! They have a clientele of 85-90% children but they also do adults, so the parents can have their hair done when their children are getting their hair cut. They do Japanese hair straightening and do up-do’s for weddings and proms. The shop is gets very busy around back-to- school, Christmas, and Easter. To help draw more clientele, the shop is starting up birthday parties for girls, where they can each have their hair and nails done. Professional hair care products made specially for kids, as well as adult products are also sold in the shop. The owner is selling because of health reasons, and she wants to spend more time with her son.
